Holy Spirit High School survived the penalty kicks, beating Moorestown Friends in Non-Public B South quarterfinals at Holy Spirit on Thursday.

The fourth-seeded Spartans won, 3-2, in penalty kicks to decide a 2-2 tie with No. 12 Moorestown. Kira McCully, Tara Pulhaski and Christina Dalzell all scored in the shootout.

Holy Spirit got goals from Danielle Peck and McCully, one in each half. Audrey Wilson made 15 saves in the game, and stopped two in the shootout.

The Spartans move on to play the top-seeded St. Rose on Monday.
