Nicki Read finally broke the tie with 2 minutes, 39 seconds left in the first overtime to lead No. 9 Millville to a win over Hammonton in a Cape-Atlantic League girls soccer game Friday.

The teams were tied after the first half.

Emily Daigle put the Bolts up 1-0 just under 14 minutes into the game. Hammonton tied it up with 3 minutes, 25 seconds left in the first half thanks to Leisha Contes.

The score held until Read's winner in the first overtime. Daigle got her second point of the game as she assisted on the winner.

Millville 1 0 1-2
