Andrew Sibson scattered two hits and two walks over six-plus shutout innings, striking out four as Cedar Creek High School defeated Sterling 1-0 on Wednesday.

Alex Boney replaced Sibson in the seventh inning after the starter put the first two batters on. Boney retired the next three for the save.

Boney and Zach Newman each had two hits. With the bases loaded in the first inning, Newman scored when Giuseppe Scanga was hit by a pitch.
