Egg Harbor Township High School freshman Andrew Holmes drove in the winning run with a sacrfice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning and the EHT baseball team beat visiting Hammonton 4-3. The Eagles loaded the bases with one out, and Holmes hit the sacrifice fly.

Holmes went 2-for-2 with two RBIs in the game. Teammate Troy Dixon was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the sixth inning. EHT pitcher Austin Fottrell went one inning to get the win, and struck out two.

For Hammonton, Anthony Cruz hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning to send the game into extra innings. Teammate Alex Padovani doubled.
