The Middle Township High School baseball team scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and held on to beat visiting Egg Harbor Township 5-4 on Friday. Middle's Erik Arenberg had two hits, including a three-run double in the fifth.

Also for the Panthers, Doug Schwartz added two hits. Winning pitcher Steven Hand went five innings. Panthers reliever Jeff Keyes worked the final two innings, and recorded a strikeout with the bases loaded to end the game.

For EHT, Mike Lahoud led with three hits, and Troy Dixon added two hits.
