Mike Sutton and Steve Pontrello each scored four goals as third-seeded St. Augustine Prep defeated sixth-seeded Bergen Catholic 14-4 in a state Non-Public A quarterfinal boys lacrosse game Thursday.
Sutton also had two assists and Pontrello made one. Pat McMenamin added three goals and an assist for the Hermits, ranked No. 1 in The Press Elite 11.
St. Augustine faces second-seeded Delbarton on Saturday.
Brendon McGuire led Bergen Catholic with two goals.
