The Lower Cape May Regional High School boys tennis team defeated Cedar Creek 3-2 in a South Jersey Group II first-round playoff match on Friday.

Lower Cape May was the sixth seed and Cedar Creek was the No. 11.

All three of the Caper Tigers' singles players, Jeff Smith, Alec Levin and Rob McClernan, all won their matches.

The Caper Tigers will travel to No. 3 Haddon Heights on Tuesday in the next round.

Doubles–Dean Mazza-Brandon Cintron C d. Justin Rife-Bob Lubberman 6-4, 7-6 (7-2); Noah Wilde-Nick Nardy C d. Tim Stanbach-Zach Lambert 7-5, 6-7 (7-5), 10-1.
