Sean McBride clinched the deciding point at third singles in straight sets as the St. Augustine Prep boys tennis team swept the singles competition to edge visiting Immaculata, the No. 7 seed, 3-2 in a South Jersey Non-Public A quarterfinal match Tuesday.

The second-seeded Hermits earned their fifth straight victory and improved to 12-5.

St. Augustine sophomore first singles player Louis Abenante moved to 14-6 with a 6-2, 6-1.

The Prep will host sixth-seeded St. Joseph-Metuchen in a semifinal Thursday.
