The Lacey Township High School girls lacrosse team had a commanding second half to beat Shore Conference rival Toms River North 18-13 on Wednesday.

Lacey (8-2) overcame an 11-8 halftime deficit with a 10-2 second half.

Holly Brewster led the Lions with six goals. Maddie Heck had four goals and Rebecca Martin had four goals and an assist.

Brittan Biele had two goals and two assists and Lauren Miklosey made 15 stops in the win.

North's Shannon Groffie had five goals and one assist in the loss.
