Our Lady of Mercy Academy senior Caitlyn Covella scored reached her 200th career point as the Villagers lacrosse team lost to Absegami 19-13 on Monday in a Cape-Atlantic League game.

Covella, an attack player, established a new school scoring record Friday with her 192nd point against Middle Township. Lauren Hartman, a 2011 OLMA graduate, had 191 career points.

Covella scored four goals and had four assists to get her 200th point Monday against the Braves. She also scored three goals in a 20-6 loss to Oakcrest on Tuesday.

Alexis Sutley and Brianna Swanson led Oakcrest with five goals apiece Tuesday. Absegami's Nicole Goodwin scored six goals and had two assists as the Braves picked up their first win of the season Monday.
