The Buena Regional High School softball team dedicated its field to its long-time coach Pam Pickett on Thursday and then beat St. Joseph 6-2 in a Cape-Atlantic League game.

Sam Fiocchi pitched a complete game for Buena to improve her record to 8-3. She allowed two unearned runs on eight hits, striking out two at Pickett Field.

Aysiah Cintron went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Buena, and Vickie Battelini scored twice.

Pickett is in her 27th season as Buena's coach, and has more than 500 career wins.

St. Joseph's Dominique D'Andrea doubled, and Taylor Sirolli went 3-for-4.
