Cheyenne Meyer's two doubles and two triples along with her 16 strikeouts on the mound helped the Cedar Creek High School softball team defeat Cape May Tech 6-0 on Tuesday in a Cape-Atlantic League matchup.
Meyer, who has committed to Division I Marshall University, became the first player in the history of the school's four-year program to reach 100 career hits. Meyer, who is only a junior, went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and now has 102 in her career.
Savanna Wilinson and Sydney Seney both hit doubles for Cedar Creek, and Darby Langel hit a triple.
