The Atlantic City High School boys basketball team, top-ranked in The Press Elite 11, beat Abington High School (Pa.) 65-51 Friday at the Jameer Nelson/Pete Nelson Classic at Widener University in Chester, Pa. The Vikings (6-0) outscored Abington 31-13 in the second half.

Dayshawn Reynolds led Atlantic City with 15 points, and Gabriel Chandler scored 14. A.C.'s Dennis White added 13 points, including 10 in the second half, and Jahleem Montague had 11 points and 15 rebounds.

"We intensified our defense in the second half and started to trap a little," Atlantic City coach Gene Allen said.
