With just a three-point lead with 25 seconds left, St. Augustine Prep pulled away with free-throws to edge Bridgeton 68-61 in a Cape-Atlantic League National Division boys basketball game Tuesday.

The victory gave Hermits coach Paul Rodio his 774th of his career - one away from tying the South Jersey record of 775 wins held by former Camden coach Clarence Turner.

LaTrelo Williams scored a 3-pointer with about 30 seconds remaining to pull the Bulldogs within three points.

Blake Rossell scored a game-high 18 points for St. Augustine, No. 3 in the Press Elite 11. David Sullivan added 16 points for the Hermits.

Ty'trel Stubbs led Bridgeton with 15 points and Craig Singleton contributed with 14.
