The 14th-seeded Ocean City High School boys basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter to beat host Toms River South 58-57 in a South Jersey Group III first-round game on Tuesday. T.R. South was the No. 3 seed.

O.C.'s Jeremy Sullivan hit two free throws with 15 seconds left to put the Red Raiders up 56-54. Justin Ruggia sank two foul shots with 5.5 seconds left and the Red Raiders led 58-54. A 3-pointer by Toms River South at the buzzer made it a one-point game.

Ocean City trailed 44-39 after three quarters, but Ruggia scored eight of his team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter. Sullivan and Connor Laverty each finished with 13 points and Griffin Grimes had nine.

South's Marquis Davis hit eight 3-pointers and scored 28 points.

Ocean City plays at sixth-seeded Hammonton at 6 p.m. today.
