Anthony Romanoff hit a 3-pointer from the left corner with a little over a minute left in overtime to give Southern the one-point lead. Jake Logue scored four of the last five points for the Rams to seal the win.
Mike Gesicki led all scorers with 26 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks for Southern.
