Middle Township High School went 10-for-11 at the free-throw line in overtime to edge Our Lady of Mercy Academy 46-42 in a Cape-Atlantic League National Conference girls basketball game Wednesday.

With about two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Middle's Olivia Schwartz hit her only 3-pointer of the game to tie it.

Danielle McCann made a field goal shortly after for the Panthers, but Mariya Ruban hit a two-pointer for OLMA to send the game to overtime.

Lauryn Fields scored a game-high 20 points for Middle, No. 9 in The Press Elite 11. Schwartz scored a total of 13 points and Lauren Legler added five points, had seven rebounds and five assists for the Panthers.

Ruban led the Villagers with 17 points, while Ali Dandrea scored 11.
