Kanesha Foster scored 14 points and had five steals to lead the Oakcrest High School girls basketball team to a 39-34 win over Cape May Tech in a Ray Martin Memorial Showcase game at the Boardwalk Basketball Classic at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Thursday.

Cape May Tech's Alexis Olson blocked 10 shots to set a new tournament record. The previous mark was eight, set by Mainland Regional's Lauren McPeak in 2005.

For Oakcrest, Dominique Barber added nine points and six steals as the Falcons earned their first victory of the season. Cape May Tech's Ceanne Czworkowski scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Rachel Sittineri also had 12 rebounds for the Hawks.
