Grant Spoltore of Egg Harbor Township scored the winning goal with 20 minutes left in the game as the Eagles boys soccer team edged visiting Millville 2-1 on Monday in a South Jersey Group IV first-round game.

EHT’s Ardit Ala (two assists) sent a shot off the goalpost and Spoltore put the rebound into the net from 5 yards out. EHT’s Kyle Sullivan and Millville’s Braeden Beck each scored in the first half. The Eagles’ Brad Watkins made four saves, and Sean Matias had eight saves for Millville, the 10th seed.

Egg Harbor Township, the seventh seed, plays at quarterfinal game at second-seeded Washington Township at a date to be determined.
