Shannon Metzler scored for sixth-seeded St. Joseph in a 6-1 loss to No. 3 St. Rose of Belmar in a South Jersey Non-Public B girls soccer quarterfinal on Tuesday.

Shannon Nilson had an assist for the Wildcats. Goalkeeper Taylor Jacoby had 15 saves in the loss.

Lauren Gates led St. Rose with four goals. Seneca Kinn-Gurzo added two.
