The Pleasantville High School boys soccer team waited nearly 100 minutes for the game’s first goal Thursday.

Daniel Armah scored with two minutes left in the second overtime period to lead the Greyhounds to a 1-0 win over Buena Regional in a Cape-Atlantic League United Division game.

Cesar Villalobos assisted on the game-winner. Javier Cortes made nine saves in the shutout.

Buena’s Fermin Osorio made 13 saves.

The Greyhounds improved to 8-1 in the United and sit half of a game behind Wildwood Catholic (8-0). The two teams meet next Friday in Pleasantville in a game that could decide the division.

Kevin Curau scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the Spartans. Quinn Advena and Danny Bloh also scored, and Anthony Lawler had 10 saves. Sean Heefner scored both goals for the Wildcats.

Lower Cape May’s Daniel Cristelo scored the winning goal in the sixth minute of the second overtime of the night game. Ryan Sincavage scored in the first half for host Lower and Pat Moore scored in the second half. Wildwood’s Dennis McAllister scored in each half.

Chase Mendyk had four saves for Lower, and Wildwood’s Dennis Olgun made six stops.
