A look ahead
The Cape-Atlantic League loses a talented crop of seniors led by Player of the Year Brittany Scott and University of Maryland-bound Kelly Lupton of Absegami.
Look for Sacred Heart’s Rosie LaGrotta, Vineland’s Demi Murray and Atlantic City’s Maddie Taggart to continue to emerge as some of the area’s best arms.
Vineland and Hammonton return plenty of talent and will lead the list of contenders in the Cape-Atlantic League American Conference.
Buena Regional loses a strong group of seniors but will be among the contenders once again in the CAL National along with Sacred Heart, which returns most of its lineup from this season’s State Non-Public B championship team.
