The St. Augustine Prep boys swimming team and the Atlantic City and Ocean City girls teams won team titles at the South Jersey Interscholastic Swimming Association Coaches’ Invitational at Gloucester County Institute of Technology on Saturday.

St. Augustine won its ninth straight team title in boys Division A (large schools) with 285 team points, despite not winning a race.

Atlantic City won the girls Division A team championship and had five wins, including two by Colleen Callahan and two by Melissa Toy.

Ocean City won the Division B girls team title with 414 points, and had six first places. Noel Styer was first in the 50 freestyle (24.60) and 100 freestyle (54.95), and anchored two winning relays.

Callahan won the girls Division A 200-yard individual medley in a meet-record 2 minutes, 8.45 seconds, and the 100 breastroke 1:06.41. Toy was first in the 50 freestyle (25.38) and 100 freestyle (54.41). Atlantic City freshman Amber Glenn won the 500 freestyle in a school-record 5:03.47. The Vikings were second in the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay.

St. Augustine top scorer Pat Flynn was second in the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke, and the Prep 200 freestyle relay was also second.

Also for Ocean City, Rachel Chain won the Division B girls 100 backstroke (1:00.67) and Mel Wilezol took the 100 breastroke (1:10.44). Chain, Wilezol, Aly Chain and Styer captured the 200 medley relay (1:52.37), and Styer teamed with Rachel Chain, Erin Myers and Gabby Breazeale to win the 200 freestyle relay (1:42.2),

Rachel Chain was second in the 100 butterfly, and Breazeale and Aly Chain were third and fourth, respectively. Myers was second in the 500 freestyle and teammate Devon Grisbaum was third. Breazeale, Myers, Wilezol and Aly Chain were second in the 400 freestyle relay.

Egg Harbor Township’s Anthony Czar won the boys Division A 200 freestyle (1:45.94), and Mainland Regional’s Steve Buzby finished second. Czar was second in the 500 freestyle.

EHT freshman Bailey Howarth took third in the girls A 100 breaststroke. Ocean City’s Kevin Gill was third in the boys B 200 freestyle. Gill was second and teammate Michael Fiscus third in the 500.
