Emily DeMarco St. Joseph, Jr., Midfielder
A three-time Press first-team All-Star who used her speed and strength to dominate the Cape-Atlantic League National Conference. She stepped up in big games, scoring 10 of her 43 goals in St. Joe's five playoff games.

Playmaker and scorer was the offensive leader for the 21-1 Red Raiders. Scored 14 goals and had 13 assists.

Speedy player who scored 13 goals and had 11 assists. Scored the winning goal in overtime in a 3-2 state semifinal win over Moorestown.
Molly Mullee
St. Joseph, Jr.
Scored 18 goals and had four assists for the 23-2 Wildcats. Scored three goals in a 4-1 win over Middle Township.
Casey Sturts
Buena Regional, Sr.
Returning Press first-team All-Star led the 13-7 Chiefs with 20 goals and also had seven assists.

Hammonton, Sr.
Led the area in scoring for the first half of the season, and finished with 26 goals.

Ocean City, Sr.
Outstanding two-way player who had seven goals and 13 assists, and was also a key to the defense. Has committed to Monmouth University.
Elyse Broderick
Southern Regional, Sr.
Returning first-team All-Star who sparked the defense for the 19-2 Rams. Southern had 15 shutouts. She also had 12 goals and eight assists. Has committed to Rutgers University.
Mackenzie Meyer
Egg Harbor Township, Jr.
Second-year Press first-team All-Star was a two-way player with 10 goals and 10 assists for the 13-6 Eagles.
Arielle Galgano
Southern Regional, Sr.
Led the Rams offensively with 21 goals and had 12 assists. Southern won Shore Conference A South. She'll play for Division III Montclair State University next year.
Corrine Etter
Millville, Jr.
Team scoring leader had 21 goals and eight assists for the 11-5-1 Thunderbolts. Was often double-teamed by defenses.

One of the CAL's most versatile players. Helped Ocean City register 19 shutouts, and scored 18 goals with 12 assists. Scored the winning goal in O.C.'s 2-0 win over Warren Hills in the state Group III final.

Four-year starter and defensive leader who made big plays for the 12-8-1 Mustangs. Helped Mainland to 10 shutouts.

Ocean City, Sr.
Defensive leader and playmaker who combined with Casey Hanna and Lauren McNally to keep the ball at midfield and attack. Also had two goals and an assist.

Second-year Press First-Team All-Star and team leader for the 11-8 Panthers. She made six defensive saves and had four assists. Middle had nine shutouts.

The Press Coach of the Year
Cory Terry, Ocean City
Terry led a young Red Raiders team to the program's eighth state Group III championship. Ocean City lost four Press first-team All-Stars to graduation, but started strong and never let up. Ocean City went 21-1 and is ranked No. 2 in The Press Elite 11's final ranking. O.C. lost only to top-ranked Eastern, 8-1 on Oct. 26. Terry's career record in three years is 61-3.
A look ahead
Ocean City loses three key players to graduation, but will return a strong nucleus and will be favored to win its 17th straight Cape-Atlantic League American Conference crown. With nearly everyone back, St. Joseph will certainly be the National favorite. Egg Harbor Township and Millville will have some good returnees and should be American contenders. Southern Regional will be hit by graduations. Lacey Township (11-9-1) will also lose several seniors. Pinelands Regional will have nearly everyone back, as will Cumberland Regional.
Team of the Year
Ocean City dominated the tough Cape-Atlantic League American Conference by winning every game by shutout. Ocean City scored 114 goals on the season while giving up 12. O.C. also beat tough non-CAL teams such as Rancocas Valley (5-0), Camden Catholic (4-2) and Haddonfield (2-0). The Red Raiders beat rival Kingsway Regional 6-0 in the South Jersey Group III title game. Following a dramatic 3-2 overtime win over Moorestown in the state semifinal, Ocean City topped Warren Hills 2-0 for the state Group III championship.
"I think they were not only the best team in our area, but they were the quintessential 'team,' " Terry said. "They came together so beautifully this season and worked so well together. We had a lot of girls get time last year, but they weren't starters. They worked so hard this year to fill big shoes, and they wanted it so bad."
