Lauren Moretti had 24 points to lead the seventh-seeded Wildwood Catholic High School girls basketball team to a 62-46 win over No. 10 Holy Cross in the first round of the Non-Public B playoffs Wednesday.

Senior Caitlin McMullan added a double-double for the Crusaders with 15 points and 13 rebounds, and Ashley Jackson scored 14 points.

Holy Cross was led by Rachel Benson with 11 points, including a game-high three 3-pointers.

Zhyana Young scored nine points to lead the fourth-seeded Spartans. Ayanna Jones added eight points, including two 3-pointers. Ciani Redd-Howard and Ariyana Wilkes each had seven points.

Taylor Crystian scored seven points for No. 13 Mater Dei.

The Spartans will host fifth-seeded Moorestown Friends at 6 p.m. Friday in the South Jersey Non-Public B quarterfinals.
