Alex Bennett was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs to lead Absecon to a 9-2 win over Egg Harbor Township in an Atlantic County Baseball League game Thursday.
Kenny Morgenweck was 2-for-4, doubled, scored twice and drove in two runs. Mike Hampton walked three times, stole three bases, scored twice and had an RBI. Pitcher Chris Scarlett allowed one hit in four innings and also hit an RBI double.
For Egg Harbor Township, Brian Wright hit an RBI single.
Note: The Ocean City at Ventnor game was postponed. No makeup date was announced.
