Danny Nunan was the winning pitcher as Ocean City defeated Hammonton 4-1 in a District 16 Little League 11-12-year-old baseball game Tuesday.
Nunan also hit a three-run homer. Blake Gorski had two hits for Ocean City. Donovan Graham pitched in relief.
Ocean City plays Margate at 7 p.m. Thursday in Ventnor.
Margate 13, Ventnor 2: Margate pitchers Isaac Robertson, Jake Hankinson and Billy Kral combined to allow just three hits in a game that ended after five innings due to the 10-run rule.
Kral homered twice and doubled. Hankinson had three hits, including a homer. Robertson and Drew Gallagher each homered and doubled.
For Ventnor, Anthony Pikus hit a two-run home run.
Absecon 13, Cape May County 0: Travis Stoll homered, tripled and had two RBIs for Absecon in a four-inning game.
Pat Spina homered, singled and had two RBIs. Sean Applegate added two hits. Spina and Billy Cappucio split pitching duties for Absecon, which will face Hammonton at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Ocean City.
Somers Point 16, Egg Harbor City 6: Somers Point pitcher Gabe Michnya struck out nine batters.
Egg Harbor City's Mike Ricci hit a three-run home run.
Linwood 8, Northfield 2: Linwood will play the winner of Brigantine vs. Middle Township at 7 p.m. Thursday in Brigantine.
District 16 9-10 baseball
Middle Township 23, Somers Point 3: Ben Church led Middle Township with a triple and four RBIs.
Luke Salvo scored five runs for Middle, and Hunter Woldford had five hits and four runs.
Justin Roffi, Gabe Donohue and Ed Camery scored one run apiece for Somers Point.
Middle plays Brigantine today at 7 p.m. in Brigantine
Hammonton 19, Absecon 4: Joey Badiacco doubled, tripled and drove in six runs for Hammonton.
Winning pitcher Luke Attanasi went 3-for-4 with four RBIs. Joey McIntosh was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.
Hammonton plays the winner of Ocean City vs. Greater Wildwood at 5:30 p.m. today in Margate.
Brigantine 16, Ventnor 11: Brigantine hosts Middle Township at 7 p.m. today.

Upper Township 14, Greater Wildwood 4: Delaney Lappin pitched four strong innings in a game that ended after the fourth on the 10-run rule.
Ashley Chattin, Abby Craige and Reghan Haneley each had key doubles for Upper Township.
Upper Township will host Hammonton at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Hammonton 19, Cape May County 0: Mikaila Rodriguez singled twice, doubled, tripled and scored three runs.
Paige Souder and Cheyenne DelGuercio each added two hits for Hammonton. Kelsey Morrow struck out two for Cape May County.
