Mike Trout update
Mike Trout of Millville is a rookie outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels. Trout, 21, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was The Press Player of the Year that season.
Saturday: Trout was 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk and two runs scored in a 6-1 win over the Tigers. He also robbed Prince Fielder of a home run with a game-ending catch. Trout went 1-for-4 with a double, run scored and a strikeout Friday in a 3-2 win over the Tigers.
