The top motorcycle racing series in the country will return to New Jersey Motorsports Park in 2017, but you’ll only have one chance to catch it.

Motoamerica announced Thursday that its AMA/FIM North American Road Race Championship will return to the track in Millville from Sept. 8-10, 2017. But that will be the only race at the track in 2017. The series had two stops at NJMP in 2016 — April 29-31 and Sept. 9-11.

The 2017 series is expanding to 10 races with two new stops at Sonoma Raceway in California on Aug. 11-13 and Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Pennsylvania from Aug. 25-27. The last time the AMA Superbike Series held a round at Sonoma was in 2012.

The other major change to the 2017 season is that the series’ finale will not be at NJMP. The Millville race will be Round 9 with the last race at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, from Sept. 15-17.
