Driver Anthony Sesely of Matawan in Monmouth County won the 40-lap Gamblers Classic for Three-Quarter midget autos on Saturday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Sesely won it wire to wire as he held off challenges by former Gamblers Classic winners Ted Christopher and Lou Cicconi Jr. and by Jimmy Blewett.

With the win, Sesely earned the Fatheadz Eyewear TQ Indoor Racing Series points championship.

The series included events at Baltimore, Providence, R.I., and Boardwalk Hall.

The race had an accident on the 38th lap as Christopher’s car hit Blewett’s and flipped as Christopher tried to take over second place.

Christopher was uninjured, and Blewitt’s car survived the collision without mechanical problems.

Blewitt ended up second, and Rowan Pennink rallied to get third.
