Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and MVP runner-up. Trout, 21, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was a two-time Press Player of the Year and The Press Male Athlete of the Year for the 2008-09 school year.

Sunday: Trout went 2-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and a stolen base in an 8-4 loss to Baltimore.

Stats: Trout is hitting .275 with 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored in 31 games. He has five homers, three triples, nine doubles and five steals.
