OF Darren Ford (Vineland) went 0-for-4 but played a part in both runs for the Indianapolis Indians (Pirates) in a 2-1 win over Louisville on Sunday in the triple-A International League. With one out and a man on second base in the sixth inning of a scoreless game, Ford grounded to third base, and the ball got past the third baseman. The run scored, and Ford ended up on second. He eventually moved to third and then scored on a sacrifice fly. Ford is hitting .256 with six runs scored, three RBIs and five stolen bases in 12 games.

OF Matt Szczur (Lower Cape May Regional) went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored for the Tennessee Smokies (Cubs) in a 9-6 loss to Huntsville in 11 innings in a double-A Southern League game. Szczur is hitting .299 with 17 runs scored, 12 RBIs and six stolen bases in 17 games.

RHP A.J. Holland (Holy Spirit) is 1-0 with a 3.68 ERA through three starts for the Lynchburg Hillcats (Braves) in the Class-A Advanced Carolina League. His next start has not been announced.

LHP Scott DeCecco (Middle Township) is 1-2 with a 2.81 ERA in three starts for the Clinton LumberKings (Mariners) in the Class-A Midwest League. His next scheduled start is Tuesday against Beloit.
