OF Darren Ford (Vineland) went 0-for-4 but played a part in both runs for the Indianapolis Indians (Pirates) in a 2-1 win over Louisville on Sunday in the triple-A International League. With one out and a man on second base in the sixth inning of a scoreless game, Ford grounded to third base, and the ball got past the third baseman. The run scored, and Ford ended up on second. He eventually moved to third and then scored on a sacrifice fly. Ford is hitting .256 with six runs scored, three RBIs and five stolen bases in 12 games.
