CF Darren Ford (Vineland) and the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners) had their game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox postponed due to nearby forest fires. Ford was hitting .314 with five runs scored in eight games through Monday in the triple-A Pacific Coast League.
LHP Scott DeCecco (Middle Township) did not pitch as the short-season Class A Everett AquaSox (Mariners) played the Vancouver Canadians in a Northwest League game that ended too late for this edition. DeCecco has a 1.50 ERA in six innings this season.
OF Alexi Colon (St. Augustine Prep) did not start for the Eugene Emeralds (Padres) against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in the short-season Class A Northwest League. The game ended too late for this edition. Colon was hitting .143 in five games through Monday.
