OF Alexi Colon (St. Augustine Prep) made the final out as a pinch-hitter as the Eugene Emeralds (Padres) lost 14-11 to the Boise Hawks (Cubs) in the short-season Class A Northwest League. Colon, who popped out with two men on base, is hitting .143 (2-for-14) in five games.
LHP Scott DeCecco (Middle Township) did not pitch for the Class A Everett AquaSox (Mariners) in an 11-2 loss to the Spokane Indians in the short-season Class A Northwest League. DeCecco has a 3.38 ERA in 22/3 innings.
