Wednesday: Went 1 for 4 with a run scored, three RBIs and his fifth home run in six games in a 12-8 win over the Chicago White Sox. He batted second and played center field.
Thursday: The Angels were off.
Friday: The Angels begin a three-game series in New York against the Mets with a 7:10 p.m. game. Jacob deGrom (2-1, 4.07) is set to start for the Mets, and Trout has never faced him.
Stats: Trout is hitting .341 (45 for 132) with 13 home runs, 30 RBIs, 28 runs scored and eight stolen bases on nine attempts in 36 games. His on-base percentage is .451, his OPS 1.193.
