A look at how Division I basketball players with local ties fared Wednesday:
Men
Anthony Raffa (Wildwood Catholic) led all scorers with 25 points in Coastal Carolina’s 66-65 loss at Gardner-Webb on Wednesday night. Raffa also had two rebounds and an assist in 35 minutes.
B.J. Bailey (Holy Spirit) finished with six points, two rebounds, two steals, one assist and a block for Lehigh in a 63-57 win at American University.
Gene Teague (Vineland native) finished with 11 rebounds, five points and five assists for Seton Hall in 69-62 loss at No. 25 Marquette.
Women
Shereesha Richards (Atlantic Christian) scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds and four steals for Albany in a 78-43 home win over New Hampshire.
Kristen Sharkey (Southern Regional) finished with seven points, three rebounds, one assist and a steal for Buffalo in a 69-54 win at Kent State.
