The Middle Township High School girls basketball team advanced to the South Jersey Group II finals with a 37-24 win over Sterling on Saturday.
They will host Delran at 7 p.m. Saturday for the title.
Other area teams were not as fortunate Saturday night.
The Middle Township boys basketball team lost to Willingboro 55-47 in the South Jersey Group II semifinals.
The Sacred Heart boys team's upset run through the South Jersey Non-Public B playoffs ended with an 82-43 win over Trenton Catholic. Trenton Catholic is the No. 3 seed, while Sacred Heart is the No. 10 seed.
The Sacred Heart girls basketball team, the No. 1 seed, lost to Gill St. Bernard's, the No. 4 seed, in the South Jersey Non-Public finals 64-51.
