The Middle Township and Ocean City high school boys soccer teams each won South Jersey titles on Friday.

Middle, the No. 2 seed, won the Group II title by defeating top seed West Deptford on penalty kicks. The game was tied 0-0 after regulation and overtime and the Panthers won 6-5 on penalties.

Middle Township advances to a state Group II semifinal game at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Prep against Central Jersey champion Delran.

Ocean City, the top seed, avenged an earlier loss to No. 3 seed Timber Creek 2-0 to win the Group III title. Aaron King scored both goals for the Red Raiders.

Ocean City will play Central Jersey champion Allentown at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Toms River East High School.
