Mike Trout of Millville is a rookie outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels. Trout, 20, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was The Press Player of the Year that season.

Saturday: Trout went 0-for-4 with one strikeout, dropping his batting average to .336, in an 11-2 loss to Toronto. It was the first time in 12 games he went hitless. Trout also made an error, his third of the season, in left field.
