The Ocean City Nor'easters are one game away from playing another Major League Soccer team in the U.S. Open Cup.

The pairings for the third-round of the cup were announced Thursday and if the Nor'easters defeat the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at home next Tuesday, May 21 they will face the Philadelphia Union on Tuesday, May 28.

The Nor'easters are a member of the United Soccer Leagues' Premier Developmental League. The Riverhounds are one step up in the USL Pro league. The teams will play at Carey Stadium in Ocean City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21. USL Pro is seen as the second level in the professional soccer leagues in the United States just behind MLS.

If the Nor'easters win, they will travel to PPL Park in Chester, Pa., to face the Union at 7:30 p.m. on May 28.

Ticket information for a potential home game at PPL Park on May 28 will be available following Tuesday night’s contest between the Riverhounds and Nor’easters.
