The Oakcrest High School boys track and field team took third place in two relays at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor meet at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C., which ended on Saturday.

The Falcons 4x110-meter hurdles relay team of Syid Evans-White, Steve Adkisson, Aaron Wilson and Chase Toliver finished third on Saturday. Oakcrest's Fabian Santiago, Darnell Charles, Reggie Morton and Akmed Muhammad took third in the 4x200 relay in 1:33.54.

An Oakcrest 4x100 relay qualified for a Saturday night final, but they decided not to run it because one of the runners sustained a leg injury.

Southern Regional's Chelsea Vaughan finished fifth in the girls pole vault with a height of 12-6.

Other results: Millville's 1,600 relay finished 14th (4:08.88); Southern's Samantha Rodriguez 20th in triple jump (38 feet, 1 inches); Millville's Ashli Weems 14th in discus (123-2); Vineland 14th in boys 4x200 relay (7:48.55).
