Course played (par and yardage): Silver Oak Golf Course (5,625 yards, par 71)

About the course: Scott said the front nine runs through the desert while the back nine goes through a residential area. He said that although the course measured a little shorter than most others he's played on his trip, most of the greens were elevated, which made the course play longer. Scott said that the greens were in fine shape but that the fairways needed work.

Playing partner: Scott played alone Thursday.

Place he started and finished for the day: Scott planned to spend a second night in the same hotel in Carson City, Nev.

Harry's highlights: Scott said he played fairly well and stayed out of trouble for the most part and avoided double bogeys. He said made par on the tricky fourth and 10th holes.

What's next: Scott will play today at Lake Tahoe Country Club in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. - just 30 minutes from his hotel in Nevada. After playing today's round, Scott must drive 644 miles to Portland. He plans to tee off at 5 a.m. Saturday at the Eastmoreland Golf Course.
