Position: tackle

How acquired: Draft pick (first round)

The skinny: New Eagles coach Chip Kelly thought enough of Johnson to grab the University of Oklahoma product with the fourth overall selection in last April's NFL draft. Johnson was the first player drafted in the top five by the Eagles since then-rookie coach Andy Reid took Syracuse quarterback Donovan McNabb with the second pick in 1999. Johnson, who began his college career as a quarterback, is expected to start at right tackle for the Eagles this season but has yet to sign a contract. Eagles rookies are due to report to training camp at the NovaCare Complex on Monday. A prolonged holdout could affect his status.

Tomorrow: Linebacker Connor Barwin
