The Cape-Atlantic League boys and girls basketball All-Stars competed in the 13th-annual Prime Events All-Star Saturday at the Dixie Howell Memorial Gymnasium at Ocean City High School.

In the girls events, Pleasantville's Mya Alston won the MVP with 16 points for Team John Leahy, who beat Team Steve DiPatri, 65-58. Mikila Stefanski of Cedar Creek won the 3-point shooting contest.

For the boys, St. Augustine Prep's Brian Seward won MVP honors with 13 points, leading Team Gene Allen over Team Dave DeWeese, 85-69. St. Joseph's Charlie Riccardi won the 3-point contest.

The CAL also awarded its Most Improved Player of the season. St. Augustine sophomore Sa'eed Nelson and Bridgeton junior Destiny Thompson won.
