Bridgeton, Sr.

He won the shot put at the season-ending Meet of Champions for the second straight year with a put of 66 feet, 10 1/2 inches. His season-best put of 69-0 was the best in the country this winter. He won the state Group II championship with a put of 68-2.25.

Curtis Fitzpatrick

Egg Harbor Township, Sr.

Won the state Group IV 55-meter dash in 6.51 seconds and his second straight South Jersey title in 6.52. He finished fifth at the MOC (6.58) and set a personal-best 6.47 to win at the 79th Eastern States Championships.

AJ Dawson

Holy Spirit, Jr.

Ran the best time in the state this season, 22.04 seconds, in the 200 meters to win at the 79th Eastern States Championships.

Isaac Clark

Pleasantville, Sr.

Won the 800 run at the Meet of Champions in a personal-best 1 minute, 51.72 seconds. He finished second at the state Group I meet with a record-breaking 1:55.47 and second at sectionals. He also took second in the state Group I 400 meter run with a season-best 49.67 seconds. He finished second at sectionals in the 400.

Jacob Clark

Pleasantville, Sr.

Won the 800 run in the state Group I meet with a record of 1:55.25. He finished third in 1:51.15 at the MOC and also broke the meet record. He ran New Jersey's best time in the 800 this season,1:51.52, as he finished fourth at the New Balance Indoor Nationals. Jacob also won the 1,600 in his season-best 4:18.22.

Ishmael Muhammad

Oakcrest, Jr.

Ran a personal-best 1:53.68 in the 800 to finish fourth at the MOC. He took second (1:54.72) in the state Group III championship meet and third (1:56.27) at sectionals.

LeaQuan James

Vineland, Sr.

James won the S.J. Group IV 800 title in 2:00.42. He ran his season-best 50.54 seconds in the 400 to win the South Jersey Track Coaches Association Meet.

Lou Corgliano

Hammonton, Sr.

Won the South Jersey Group III 3,200 run in 9:35.74. He finished sixth at the MOC in 9:17.52.

Danielle Leavitt

Lacey Township, Jr.

Won the S.J. Group III girls 800 and 1,600. Leavitt broke her meet record in the 1,600 in 5:04.21 and finished the 800 in 2:18.48. She took fourth in the 1,600 at the MOC in 5:02.74.

Hurdles

Chase Toliver

Oakcrest, Sr.

Won the 55 hurdles at the state Group III championships in 7.64 seconds and the S.J. title in 7.68. He finished second at the MOC in 7.54.

Andrea Olsen

Buena Regional, Sr.

Won the S.J. Group I 55-meter hurdles with a meet- record 8.52 seconds. She also took third in the 400 at the state Group I championships with a meet-record 57.91.

1,600 relay

Southern Regional girls

The foursome of Jenna Ritchie, Carly Burnup, Melana Hammel and Brianna Angellella finished seventh at the MOC with the ninth-best time in the state this season, 4:00.31. The team also took third at sectionals.

Egg Harbor Township boys

The team of Martin Maldonado, Maurice Bynum, Nate Henry and Adam Bynum finished ninth at the 79th Eastern States Championships in 3:27.11. They ran the fastest time of any local team this season.

Egg Harbor Township, Sr.

Won the state Group IV shot put with a season-best throw of 58 feet, 10 inches. He finished third at sectionals (58-2). He finished sixth (57-41/2) at the 79th Eastern States Championships and 10th (57-41/4) at the New Balance Indoor Nationals.

Kofi Yamoah

Egg Harbor Township, Sr.

Broke his own meet record to win the S.J. Group IV shot put title with a distance of 58-51/2. He threw a 56-9 to take third at the state Group IV meet and finished second at the MOC with 57-61/4. He threw a personal-best 59-9 to take third at the 79th Eastern States Championships.

Lola Agabalogun

Egg Harbor Township, Sr.

Won the state Group IV girls shot put with a school-record 40-7.75 and won the S.J. title with a distance of 39-9. She finished fourth (39-101/4) at the MOC. She threw a personal-best 421/4 and finished fourth at the 79th Eastern State Championships.

That throw was the second-longest put in the state this season.

Buena Regional, Sr.

Won the state Group I girls pole vault and cleared 10-0. She set a personal best 10-7 and won the S.J. title.

Brianna Angellella

Southern Regional, Jr.

Won the S.J. Group IV high jump title with a personal-best 5-2. She finished second at the state Group IV championship with the same height. She also took eighth at the MOC.
