GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP -- The Ramapo University men’s basketball team, which twice trailed by 15 points in the first half, rallied to beat host Richard Stockton 71-68 in overtime today in a game for first place in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
Ramapo improved to 13-2 overall and 8-1 NJAC. Stockton fell to 11-3 (7-2).
The lead went back and forth in the second half until Ramapo tied it at 60-60 with 1 second left on a 3-pointer by Garret Thiel. Will Sanborn (23 points) put the Roadrunners up for good at 67-65 in overtime with a three-point play.
Darnell McCargo scored 13 points for the Ospreys.
