The crew of Wayne MacMurray and Bill Kindle clinched the Brennan McCann Masters Series season points championship on Saturday with the fourth-place finish in the last of five rowing races in the Seaview Harbor section of Egg Harbor Township.

MacMurray, an Upper Township lifeguard, and Kindle, a Wildwood Beach Patrol alumnus, also won the Brennan McCann points title in 2008 and 2011.

The crew of Darrick Kobierowski, a Stone Harbor lifeguard alumnus, and Terry McGovern, a Wildwood Crest lifeguard, won Saturday's five-mile race in 31 minutes, 45 seconds. Carl Smallwood Jr., a Margate alumnus and Tom Sher, a Ventnor alumnus, were second in 32:42, and brothers Jim and John Swift, Margate alumni, were third in 33:10.

The race had 14 crews.
