Shep on Fishing: Ocean City woman possibly sets world record for black drumfish

Maureen Klause of Ocean City is a dedicated sport fisher. She owns world line-class records for drum at 18.4 pounds with 2-pound test line, 63-12 pounds on 6-pound test line and 77-6 on 8-pound test. Her 5½-year campaign to claim the 4-pound test line record looks to have paid off Monday with a 61.85-pound black drum that was weighed at Off the Hook at Hinch Marina in Cape May.
