The Philadelphia 76ers acquired second-year guard Charles Jenkins and cash considerations from the Golden State Warriors on Thursday in exchange for a protected second-round draft pick.

Jenkins, a 6-foot-3, 215-pounder whom the Warriors drafted with the 44th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft, averaged 1.7 points per game in 47 games (no starts) for Golden State this season. In 51 games, including 28 starts, as a rookie, he averaged 8.6 points, 5.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 24.9 minutes per game.

Jenkins, who is Hoftstra's all-time leading scorer and was named the Colonial Athletic Associated Player of the Year as a junior and a junior.
