Mainland Regional High School's Maddie McGlynn drove in the winning run with a single to center field with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning as the host Mustangs beat Hammonton 5-4 on Wednesday.

Ashlee Moran and Gab Guarracino were each 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Mustangs, and McGlynn went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Winning pitcher Abby Roberts came on in the sixth inning in relief of starter Zoe Graziotto.

For Hammonton, Nyasia Flores was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Hammonton pitcher Kimmy Hellyer went the distance and doubled at the plate.
